About
Aberdeen University Women in Science and Engineering (AUWISE) was set up to encourage the next generation of talented female students to take up STEM subjects at university.
We also aim to equip female students at Aberdeen University with the skills they need to develop successful careers, where we organise networking sessions and career-focused events.
There are lots of opportunities for members to meet and interact with other students studying similar degrees and network with a large range of different industries.
We believe all women can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.
Our Mission
We want to introduce lots of potential employers to women in STEM and to help decrease the gender gap that exists in STEM and get more women into STEM areas.
Our Vision
We want to do our part to help decrease the gap between the amount of men and women in science and STEM related careers.
